Isleworth House

The site falls gently toward the water. The house follows that fall in a sequence of terraces — living rooms at the lake, quieter rooms held back among the trees.

Stone is used generously, inside and out, so the threshold between garden and interior is almost none. Bronze hardware, oak floors, and a pool court that is meant to be used in silence as much as in company.
