The house sits low to the ground, its mass broken into three pavilions arranged around a court of still water. Limestone, chosen for its quiet grain, is carried from the garden walls into the principal rooms.

Interiors are reserved: walnut, pale plaster, linen. Light is admitted with care. The detailing is intended to recede — so that what remains is proportion, material, and the particular calm of a house built without hurry.
