Ocean Pavilion

The Atlantic asks for a house that can hold both glare and shade. Pale limestone, deep loggias, and a plan that turns rooms toward the water without exposing them entirely.

Inside, the palette is reserved — limestone, bleached oak, a little gilt only where the hand meets a door. The workmanship is in the alignments: stone joints that run true from terrace to hearth.
